WEEKLY RIDES & EVENTS

We offer at this time two weekly rides that are designed for individuals of all skill levels. Our ride leaders are knowledgeable, personable and responsible. Whether it’s a hard core ride, casual ride, or a social ride to a brewery, we’ve got you covered.

Monday Night – Advanced Mountain Bike
7:00 pm- Brisk pace, 14-20 miles of in-town mountain bike trails connected by pavement. The routes can change week to week. It’s a friendly and supportive group, but If you get dropped, be self sufficient as it not a no-drop ride.

What to bring? Mountain bike in good working condition, helmet, water and nutrition, flat changing tools and powerful lights. Rides finish with a beer stop at Cypress & Grove Brewery across from the bike shop.

All rides leave and finish at the shop. If driving, please park in the street or the lot across from the shop.

Thursday Night- Beginner/Intermediate Mountain Bike
7:00 pm- Slow/Medium pace, 8-16 miles of in-town mountain bike trails connected by pavement. The routes can change week to week. This no-drop group ride is perfect for the cyclist new to riding mountain bikes or returning to the bike, or just looking for a more casual ride.

To accommodate the number of riders and varying fitness, there are two groups. The slow paced group is designed for those who can average 6-8 mph for 8-10 miles with one or two regrouping points.

The medium pace group will average 8-12 mph for distances between 15-20 miles with regrouping points.

Both rides are intended to explore, so leave your heart rate monitor at home, bring some spare dollars for the occasional beer stop at First Magnitude Brewing.
